Beloved
During our Christmas service at church my Pastor referred to his congregation as beloved. I was sitting there saying wow did he really just call the church Beloved. I didn't think anyone else paid it any attention and I still believe that many probably missed and or missed the significance of the church being called by that name. Being called beloved means that his congregation is Greatly loved; dear to the heart. I have never been in any church service where you were able to feel a Pastor's love for his congregation and his desire for the church to really get closer to God. I have been in services where it has been assumed but never plainly felt and seen. My Pastor every week reiterates how important it is for us to worship God corporately and on our own. Have daily prayer time, talk time, quiet time with God, and to read his word daily. All of these things build our relationship with God and make us get closer and allows us to hear from God. A day or so after church my daughter in randomness mentioned how warm and fuzzy it made her feel to hear the church referred to as Beloved . It has been such a wonderful blessed experience.
